If you’re a long-time supporter of Romania Reborn, you know we publish a Christmas giving catalogue every year. In the midst of our culture’s seasonal focus on toys, clothes, and gadgets, we think it’s a helpful way to put a bit more real joy and meaning into your Christmas.
This year, we’re doing something a little different. We’re still offering gifts you can “buy” for children in need: food, shelter, adoption services, and more. (You’ll find these in our online giving catalogue.) We’re also still offering gift dedication cards, sent to the recipient of your choice. This might be a great alternative to the traditional Christmas gift for someone on your list.
But this year we’re also offering a small gift to you: a week’s worth of Christmas devotions you can use as an individual or a family. These seven brief reflections (starting here) include Scripture readings that tell the Christmas story, thoughts on the needs of abandoned children, and ways you can make a difference through prayer and action.
As a mother of four children myself, I’m always looking for simple new ways to make the Christmas story come alive and inspire my kids to share God’s love with others. Whether you have children in your home or not, I pray these devotions from Romania Reborn will bless you and enrich your Christmas season.
