For 14 years and counting, we’ve supported Romanian-run ministries helping orphans and vulnerable kids. In the past two years, we’ve also been working to build a brand-new network of Romanian charities, in order to start an adoption movement within the Romanian church. As long as God continues to bless our efforts, we won’t stop until we see a new culture of compassion emerge in Romania, focused on orphans and vulnerable kids, and starting within the church.
This is a big vision. But we believe it’s a vision to which God has called us, and we’re trusting Him to accomplish it—through His people.
In order to pursue this vision, we need a strong base of supporting partners to join us in giving and prayer. Over the next year, we’ve set a goal to double our current number of donors. This would empower us to keep changing kids’ lives through our current ministries, but also to expand our efforts to impact the church, community, and culture of Romania.
Would you be willing to share our work with friends or family as an Orphan Advocate? We’ve seen time and again that a word-of-mouth recommendation from a friend is the most effective way to get new people on board. This is easier than it may sound. Below are some simple ways you can advocate for abandoned children.
“Like” Romania Reborn on Facebook, and share our links, videos, and photos with your Facebook friends. (Add a personal recommendation for extra impact.) You may also sign up as an Orphan Advocate, and we will send you an e-mail designed especially for forwarding to your friends and family.

2. In Print
Request Romania Reborn postcards, with basic info on our ministry and space for you to write a personal note, to mail to friends and family. They’d be perfect to slip inside Christmas cards! Or, leave the work of mailing to us and send us the names & addresses of a few friends who might have a heart for our ministry. (We never sell or give information to any third party.)
To request postcards or send addresses, simply e-mail us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
3. In Person
Host a home meeting: gather friends for a casual coffee to watch our video, have a fundraising “baby shower” for abandoned kids, or work together with friends on a bake sale or yard sale. You can also tell your church missions leaders about our ministry. We are happy to send you an information packet to use. We’d even travel to speak at a church event, as our schedule and budget allow.
