Help equip women on the front lines of orphan care.

For decades, adoption was an unfamiliar concept in Romania. Romanian families who adopted or fostered a child had very few resources to help them in their journey: no workshops, no support groups, no books or podcasts.

Today, that’s all changing.

Thanks to the Romania Without Orphans Alliance (ARFO), adoptive families in Romania are beginning to get help to meet their child’s unique needs and build strong family relationships.

ARFO’s latest project is translating a Bible study specifically for adoptive and foster mothers. Second Mother, originally written in English by Jodi Jackson Tucker, is “an uplifting 6-part Bible study will help you search your own heart and connect with other Second Moms.”

Romania Reborn is excited to partner with ARFO in translating and printing 1,000 copies of A Doua Mamă (the Romanian translation), and giving them to Romanian women.

We’re so excited about this chance to build up national adoptive moms (and their families), that we want to give you a chance to get in on it.

You can fund a copy of A Doua Mamă for just $2.50 per book. That’s right: a $5 donation will provide this blessing for two Romanian families; $10 will bless four families; $25 will bless ten families. What’s more, we’ll also be helping ARFO in their ongoing mission to build a homegrown, Christian orphan care movement in Romania.

This fundraiser will run through the end of the month, or until we get to 1,000 books — whichever comes first.

January is dreary. Let’s brighten it with a little love.
