“Aida” began her life in uinimaginably difficult circumstances. Her birth mother, just 14 years old, lived in a state orphanage. The Romanian system would have separated them at birth, placing Elsa in the foster system and sending her young mother back to the orphanage.
We wanted to prevent this trauma, both for Aida and her birth mom. So while she was still pregnant, we were able to place her mother in a wonderful Christian family. When Aida was born, she came home to this large, faith-filled family, surrounded by adopted and foster "siblings."
That's still where she lives today. While her birth mother has sadly struggled as a young adult, thankfully Aida is thriving. An adoption will be legally difficult, but we will continue to support her in the family who loves her. *(stock photo for privacy)*

For children who cannot be adopted, we have a private foster program, separate from the government's system. Our foster families are faithful Romanian Christians who agree to care for children long-term. We invite you to build a special supportive relationship with one of our foster children.
